School Clubs

School Clubs help to boost students’ self-esteem and self-confidence. The main objective of the clubs are :

·      Help them build positive identity & healthy self-esteem.

·      Helping them build a balanced personality.

·      Making them responsible citizens.

·      To broaden the horizons of the children.

·      Help them develop their creativity.

·      Channelize their energies in a positive direction.

·      Help in social growth of the children.

School clubs are extracurricular groups that allow students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and connect with peers. They offer a variety of activities, from academic pursuits to creative arts and sports, fostering personal growth and a sense of community within the school. In the URPS we have following clubs that perform the different activates and have different motto. Art Club

Description:

The Art Club encourages students to explore their creativity through drawing, painting, and craftwork. It provides a space where imagination meets technique, allowing students to express emotions, culture, and ideas visually. The club regularly conducts art competitions, exhibitions, and wall art projects within the school.

Motto: Create with Heart, Color with Imagination

Key Activities:

·      Poster making

·      Clay modeling

·      Calligraphy and sketching

·      Seasonal and festival-based decorations

·      Drawing, sketching, and painting competitions

·      Poster making and chart preparation for school events

·      Best out of waste and craft activities

Music and Dance Club

Description:

The Music and Dance Club nurtures talent in both vocal and instrumental music as well as in various dance forms—classical, folk, and contemporary. It enhances rhythm, coordination, and stage confidence among students. The club plays an active

Key Activities:

·      Group and solo singing practices (Patriotic, Folk, Classical, Contemporary)

·      Learning musical instruments like harmonium, keyboard, tabla, etc.

·      Rehearsals and performances of classical, folk, and freestyle dance forms

·      Participation in school assemblies, functions, and inter-school competitions

·      Organizing talent shows and cultural events

Science Club

Motto: Explore, Experiment, Excel

Description:

The Science Club is a place where curiosity meets discovery. It encourages students to observe, question, and innovate. Through hands-on activities, fun experiments, and interactive learning, the club nurtures scientific thinking and inspires young minds to explore the wonders of science beyond the classroom.

Key Activities:

·      Designing working science models and experiments

·      Organizing science quizzes, debates, and exhibitions

·      Celebrating National Science Day and Technology Week

·      Field trips to science museums and research center

 Environmental Club

Motto: Green Earth, Clean Earth!

Description:

The Environmental Club fosters awareness and responsibility toward our planet. It encourages students to take practical steps toward sustainability and conservation. The club promotes eco-friendly practices and builds leadership in solving real-world environmental problems.

Key Activities:

·      Tree plantation and school gardening projects

·      Waste management and recycling drives

·      Cleanliness campaigns and “No Plastic” awareness

·      Celebrating Earth Day, Environment Day, and Wildlife Week 

·      Making eco-friendly crafts and posters

  Bird Watchers Club(Bablis Birders)

 Motto:

“Explore Nature, Observe Life.”

 Objective:

To develop awareness, appreciation, and understanding of birds and their habitats among students. The club aims to foster a love for wildlife and promote conservation values.

Key Activities:

·       bird-watching trips

·       Identifying and recording local bird species

·       Maintaining a bird sighting diary

·       Guest lectures by ornithologists

 

·       Creating bird feeders and water stations
